The CACE Future Leaders Conference and its program has been designed for CACE members who have 10 years or less at the bar, to provide them with an opportunity to learn practical skills and to network with other members in similar stages of practice. This year, we have continued with the formalized Friday night networking reception and Saturday night mentoring dinner, plus we have an exciting new agenda. Only 100 spots are available for the conference at the beautiful Lac-Leamy in Gatineau, just across the bridge from Ottawa. Please note that registrations are on a first come, first in basis. We sold out early the last two years and we are unable to accommodate additional registrations, so please register early to avoid disappointment.
Once your membership fee is up to date, YOU MUST LOG IN to register for the conference. Once logged in, under Conferences, click on the Event Calendar and follow the prompts to register. Note: Conference payments can only be processed on-line with a credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD only). We do not accept cheques. Please book your hotel before April 2, 2025 to count towards our room block. Hotel information can be found on our website.
The cost to attend the conference is $850.00 (plus 5% GST & 9.975 QST). No registrations will be accepted after April 11, 2025.
The Hilton Lac-Leamy is approximately 20-25 minutes from the Ottawa Airport.
Friday night networking reception is from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Canapes and cocktails (with and without alcohol) will be available for registrants. Saturday evening we will beheading into the woods/hills to Camp Fortune for food and mentoring in a casual environment. The Casino (attached to the hotel) has a live band on both Friday and Saturday night for those of you who aren’t ready to call it a night after the CACE events. You might also want to pack a bathing suit and your trainers, as the Hilton Lac-Leamy has a year round outdoor pool & hot tubs, as well as a 24-hour gym. There is also a 2.5 km trail for the walkers and runners that loops around Lac Leamy.
Conference Sessions: Suggested Dress for the conference sessions is business casual. Saturday Evening Reception and Dinner: Casual / Smart casual (which really means be comfortable).
After April 2, 2025, there will be no refunds for cancellations. You may however provide a substitute registrant who is a current member of CACE.
