The Committee provides an opportunity for government and corporate counsel to interact with other in-house counsel across Canada, to discuss and stay current on developing matters of relevance to in-house counsel. It also provides an opportunity for in-house counsel to provide their unique perspective on CACE’s conferences, mission and advocacy. In-house counsel are also represented on the Board of Directors by two Corporate Counsel members of CACE.
The Committee meets by videoconference approximately five times per year, as well as in-person during a private reception at CACE’s annual conference. The Committee also develops and presents webinars on various relevant subject matters, and provides input regarding session content and suggests in-house counsel speakers for the annual conference.
